I read your earlier post about free image editing software, but neither program you suggested has a good range of text art and effects to make buttons and logos for my website. Can you recommend any other programs or websites?
Cooltext.com is a great free site that offers tools specifically for text art.
- Logos: 31 different logo styles, 1200 fonts to choose from, and colors can be altered to match your design.
- Buttons: A variety of shapes, shadows, and effects to choose from. Fonts and colors can be modified as well.

Once your image has been rendered you must download the it to your local drive, the image will not be hosted on their server. As your are creating your graphics, be sure to browse their extensive font library. The fonts can be used either on the site or downloaded for use on your computer.

very cool site, I just checked it out and you are right. You can create a banner in less than a minute. I did one for my site at http://www.wizeguyztees.com
